Nuclear Essex Rebrand and Website
After significant growth, Nuclear Races and their associated sub-brands required cohesion to take them into a new era of offering unique visitor experiences in Essex. A rebrand and the creation of a new website followed to bring all of the brands under one roof: that of Nuclear Essex.
Having already worked with the Nuclear Races team on social media consultancy and facilitating a marketing strategy Discovery Session, it became apparent that the various Nuclear brands had become disjointed over time as new sub brands were developed and added. As such, we worked with the team to create an overarching parent brand, Nuclear Essex.
Working closely with the Nuclear Essex team, we gave the Nuclear branding a refresh across all sub-brands. Being conscious that we wanted to retain the history, heritage and strong brand awareness built by Nuclear Races over the years, this project was very much about aligning the various brands and giving them a little refresh to bring a contemporary feel to the already well recognised brand.
The outcome was a suite of distinct-yet-connected logos, backed by a visual brand language which gave them all their own identity but also created brand uniformity.
The next step in creating a seamless brand experience for Nuclear Essex was the creation of a new website.
Between the various Nuclear sub-brands, there were six different websites in existence, all of which had a different look and feel, varying information and very little cohesion. We set about combining these sites into one complete hub for all of the sub-brands, with Nuclear Essex as the overarching parent brand.
Being mindful of aspects such as the different event types and information required, the varying user groups and the established SEO performance and organic search rankings, the new website allows for a seamless experience with consistency in its look, tone of voice and, most importantly, the information available to the end user.
Nuclear Essex are now able to confidently race into a new era of offering unique visitor experiences, all of which start at the website as the first touchpoint.
