Blue Serif announced as Main Sponsor for The Brentwood Eels

2023 is already shaping up to be an exciting year for Blue Serif. Anyone that knows our Director, Matt, will know that he has long been a rugby fan, and as supporters of the wider Brentwood community, we are delighted to announce that we have committed as Main Sponsor to Brentwood Eels for the next 3 years.
A Brentwood club for the Brentwood Community
One of the reasons that we were keen to sponsor Brentwood Eels (aside from Matt’s love of rugby!) was their strong roots and links to the Brentwood community. Originally established as the Brentwood Elvers in October 2004, the club was set up to service the development ladder building slowly through local primary and secondary schools and initially ran teams at Under 11 and 13 age groups.
With the club having had a makeover in 2014, leading to it being formally known as Brentwood RLFC, Rugby League in Essex has seen its popularity grow beyond all expectations in recent years. The Brentwood Eels now operate numerous age groups including Open Age.
The Club has proven to be extremely successful and regularly sees its players selected at representative level and its teams invited to participate in tournaments both in the North of England and France. They currently have three players that have turned professional, which is testament to the work Brentwood undertakes in developing Rugby League players.
This ethos of community and education fits perfectly alongside our own ethos of the same values, and we’re looking forward to working with them over the coming years!

A collaborative partnership between sport and design
As part of our commitment to Brentwood Eels as their main sponsor, we are also excited to be supporting them creatively. This will very much be a collaborative partnership between our studio and the team, and we’re looking forward to elevating their brand and their presence within the community, helping them to reach more potential players and supporters.

We would like to wish all of the teams the best of luck for the upcoming season. We’re already looking forward to the first Betfred Challenge Cup game against the Bedford Tigers on 11th February!
